Fernando Beltran, president of Zanfer Promotions, said that his fighter, Jaime Munguia, days as a junior middleweight fighter are numbered. Munguia concurred saying that his September 14th fight against Patrick Allotey will be his last in that division. “My plan is to finish my time at 154 with a big, spectacular show,” Munguia said. Beltran and Munguia want a mega-fight with Canelo and it would most likely be at 156. Contracts will be finalized later this week with a catch weight.
